Make it Known

Have you ever noticed that the word "art" is in the word "heart"? You have to open your heart to make art.
If you want your art shown, you must get out in the community. At first, I was afraid to do this because I was afraid of failure and rejection. I also have to add that being unemployed gave me the time to get out in the community and promote my work and go to events. As an artist, I can't think of the What Ifs; if I do, I will lose my creativity and future opportunities. I do get overwhelmed with all of the awesome photographers out there, but I know I have something to contribute. My friends, family, and former professors have given me the support to promote my art and I am very thankful for these people.
