Please rescue me from watching "Rescue Me"

After watching a few episodes of "Rescue Me", I have come to the conclusion that it is very man-focused, homophobic, and anti-woman. The women are over-sexed, anorexic women, whom are called "broads", "dames", and "bitches". There is a fat woman whom is the butt of the most horrible jokes, and yet there are 2 disgustingly fat main male characters. There is a dead black woman in an episode and they are horribly cruel about having to move her out of her apartment because she is fat. The men love lesbians, but they hate gay men. And it's also ok for men to have affairs, but the women are not "allowed" to. At first, I thought it would be a good show, the writing is ok. But it just got worse and worse. I would love to have a conversation with the writers.
