Do people read these anymore?

A social media friend of mine started a blog and inspired me to touch up my blog site. For every 1 person, there are 2+ social media sites attached to them. Mine are facebook & twitter which are the most commonly used social media sites. But where do blogs fall in to the picture? Do most people read blogs anymore? I like to think they do...
